Peggy Cohen (she/her) is certified by the North American Registry of Midwives as a Certified Professional Midwife and is licensed in Vermont. She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She is a member of the Midwives Association of North America (MANA), the National Association of Certified Professional Midwives (NACPM), and Vermont Midwives Association (VMA). Peggy graduated with honors from Ohio University. Her post graduate work in Midwifery was done at the Seattle Midwifery School. She graduated from there in 1994 and has been helping babies out ever since!
In 1995 Peggy moved to the Burlington area from the Pacific Northwest and founded the home birth practice, Full Spectrum Midwifery. She has had the good fortune to work with some amazing students, midwives and families over many years.

Meena Kumari Dieterich (she/her) began the academic portion of her midwifery education at Birthwise Midwifery School in 2020, and is thrilled to be joining the Full Spectrum Midwifery team for her clinical training. Born at home in Brooklyn, NY, she carries a life-long love of birth stories and community care into her midwifery work. Meena studied Anthropology and Reproductive Justice at Hampshire College, where her senior thesis explored the American birth care system through oral and archival histories. She is a Certified Lactation Counselor and DONA-trained birth doula, and has worked as a birth and abortion doula with the NYC-based volunteer collective The Doula Project since 2015.
